Male tattoo designs have traditions stretching back to the stone age. Tattoos used to signify status and some tattoos would tell stories of brave, heroic deeds, of battles won and enemy slaughtered. Nowadays, tattoos are purely decorative and guys wear native Moari designs without a clue as to the meaning. I have seen guys with Japanese writing on their arms and when I have inquired as to the meaning I have learned the wearer doesn't know what the tattoo says except it looks cool. Possibly, these guys could be walking past a Japanese girl and winking at her sexily, whilst his tattoo is proclaiming "I'm gay!" LOL...
