I am in awe at the artists who focus their talent on body art. Some of these artists are immensely talented and the results speak for themselves. The reasonm I am in awe is it appears to me to be such a selfless medium of art. The art they create they literally have to watch walk away on someone elses back! Even if they are well paid for painting on skin, there is always an emotional attachment to a creation and the body artist has to place that emotion to one side. It is not about them, it is all about the subject. And surely, with the talent displayed, they could make a lot more money applying their talent to canvas? Even if they sell the canvas, the work exists and maybe they will see it again?
