Body painting is a little like ice sculture, very temporary. But the effects artists achieve with body paint is truly wonderful, often jaw-dropping. The image above is, hopefully you will agree, a fine example of great art. For me art is perspective and great art is perspective that pokes you in the eye. When I see body art used by a talented artist I will always stop and do a double take. How many of you remember that wonderful image of Demi Moore on the cover of Vanity Fair all those years ago? She was dressed in a skin tight suit with a crumpled shirt and tie. When I realised she wasn't dressed at all, I scrutinised that picture in disbelief she was naked and the clothing was paint.
